1. Where do you based and what currency do you used?

We are based in Singapore and we use Singapore Dollars in our pricing.

2. Do you take international orders?

We take international orders but shipping will be at the purchaser's cost. If you do not mind, you may enquire about shipping cost prior to placing your order.

3. Shipping

How and when do you ship?

We use Singpost for all our deliveries.  If a parcel weighs more than 3 kgs, we will use a private courier service or hand deliver it ourselves.

How much is the shipping cost?

Shipping cost is free for regular postage in Singapore only unless stated otherwise.

How long does it takes to arrive?

Parcels will usually take 2-5 days to arrive but we really have no control over the postage delivery service time.

Can I get my order delivered as a registered mail?

Yes of course, you just need to top up $2.50. ( Just click on Shipping in category and add the product into your cart. )

Can I pick up my orders?

Of course, you can! Just indicate that you would like to pick it up yourself, that will help us greatly. With that postage we save, we will donate it to the Project Love Lunch.

4. What is your return policy ?

In any case, if  you are not happy with your purchase, you may notify us within 7 days after you have received your books and we can discuss about the matter and how we can help you further. Unfortunately we are unable to reimburse the postage when you send the books back to us.

5. Do you do custom orders?

Yes, if you have something in mind which you can't find, please contact us and we will try our best to get the books for you.

6. Where do you get your books from ?

We have suppliers all over the world who have books in good condition. We also source our books locally.   You can call us Karung Guni ladies, sometimes, you may find us digging for a treasure in a dusty old bookshop!

7. How clean are your books?

We make sure our books leave us as clean as they can to their new owners. We treat our books like baby bumps. We use babywipes and alcohol wipes to clean the cover of the book. This serve as a disinfectant for the books. We also give a spray of thieves oil just to  gently 'sterilise' them.

8. Oh no, a book I want is sold out. What can I do?

Fret not! Contact us immediately. Sometimes we may have one more in the store room but if not, we can help hunt it down for you. However, condition and price may vary.

9. Why do you use recycle material and bubble wrap for packaging?

We are not only into saving old books, but saving the world too. We pack our books carefully with bubble wraps or hand deliver them, to ensure that these tired old souls don't get damaged further. We are finding ways to reduce the bubble wrap usage.

Using cleaned recycling materials also mean we can save your money and provide free shipping.

If you could save those bubble wrap/polymailers/cardboard envelopes for us, we can reuse them to reduce packaging waste.

10. Do you have a facebook account?

No, we don’t. We prefer to update our fans of our news on Instagram.

11. Do you do charity work?

Yes! Our mission is to be a social enterprise! We are currently donating 10% of our sales to a local community project - Project Love Lunch to help feed the less unfortunate children who normally go bed hungry. We hope to help more different levels of people in the society. So, you are actually donating 10% to the charity when you buy from us!

12. Why do I have to buy from you?

To be honest, you don't! You can get new or used books from many other online resources.

But what you buy from us is:

*our expertise and knowledge in curation of good children’s literature books

*our time to search for the books and to clean them

*our collaboration and negotiation with our suppliers for better deals

*the risk of getting banished books

We help bring you books to your home so that you can spend more time reading them with your children in the comfort of your homes!

the end.
